Welcome to Bakwen Kennel Saints - Home of family raised Saint Bernard's.

Bakwen Kennel is owned and operated by Patrick and Diane Wenham.  We are located in Central New York.  We are a small family run kennel.  We share a love for all furry friends but are hopelessly devoted to Saint Bernard's. 

We breed to meet the standard for Saint Bernard's.  We have an average of 2-3 litters per year.  All of our dogs are AKC and UKC registered.  Our goal is to better the breed.  Our dogs are all vet checked prior to all breeding.  Our puppies are seen by our vet at least twice before being placed in to any home.  We encourage prospective buyers to come visit our kennel and spend time with our dogs.  We are active members of the Saint Bernard Club of America, the Saint Bernard Club of the Finger Lakes, and the Empire State Dog Club.

All of our Saints are of sound health and temperament.  We attend Conformation Dog Shows with our dogs.  In the near future, we plan to venture in to Obedience, Rally, Drafting, and Weight Pulling.  Our three boys help with the daily care and play of our dogs.  Our two oldest boys are registered AKC Junior Handlers.  We offer stud service to approved females, puppies, and occasionally adult dogs.
